Pastor James Foley was born and raised in Worcester, Massachusetts. He came to the Lord through a miraculous conversion experience while a student at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst in the fall of 1998. Upon the completion of a business degree he felt the call of God, leading him to the Brownsville Revival School of Ministry in Pensacola, Florida. It was there that he met his future wife and ministry partner, Misty. After his studies, he returned to his hometown of Worcester to serve as a staff pastor at First Assembly of God—Worcester, working with young adults for nearly six years. He and his wife felt the call of God to lead a church in 2008. Having been installed as the Pastor of New Life in January of 2009, his passion is helping people discover and embrace the new life Christ offers.
